Manchester United are ready to spend £150m this summer, and will set aside that war-chest at a transfer 'summit' on Friday, according to the Mirror.

The Old Trafford chiefs are set to allocate Van Gaal and Ed Woodward with the whopping summer transfer kitty, who they will ask to go out and land at least three big targets.

Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels, Roma's Kevin Strootman and Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne are all mentioned as prime targets, with the centre of defence United's well-documented problem area.
